i cant play mp3,mpeg,dat,vob,divx,avi.

looks like a lot of those codecs b gone from the freecontrib.org site. if you do apt-get update a lot of 404′s appear.

Some wma files can be weird like that. I believe not all wma files are alike? Anyway, try to find out what kind of wma file it is. Wish I could be of more help
