hi, have you considered adding sites created by private users like

http://www.psychocats.net/ubuntu/
http://users.bigpond.net.au/hermanzone/

They contain info which is hard to find, especially for new Ubuntu users.

Peter - From what I can tell there is still a bit of difference between the two so both should be helpful. Did I miss anything else?

Great summary. The only thing you may want to change is that the Ubuntu wiki (wiki.ubuntu.com) focus is upon development of Ubuntu. The community docs (help.ubuntu.com/community) is now the place for how-to's and instructions. Any how-to's or instructions on wiki.ubuntu.com should be migrated to the community doc's.

But anyways, great work.
