torstein – please refer to the 0.4.1 version which should include uninstall options. otherwise, you can manually try:

sudo userdel -r folding
sudo rm -rf /var/folding
sudo rm /etc/init.d/folding

RainCT – if you’re already running the Folding client there is no need to upgrade. It looks like your machine was already installed.

I’ll update the post (and future revisions) to remind of that fact.

Hey,

I’ve tried upgrading from your first FAH installer release but I think it didn’t work.

If I run “sudo ./FAH-deploy.sh” for installation on the current PC it says that it launches the installer but then it doesn’t print anything more.

Then I tried with “sudo ./FAH-installer.sh” and it seems it worked fine until it said that:

‘/etc/init.d/folding’ is present.
Do You want to reinstall it?: yes
System startup links for /etc/init.d/folding already exist.
init script installed

['folding' ver. 5.5]

Starting up FAH client(s) on 1 processor(s):
…FAH client(s) are already running.

Starting of FAH client(s): FAILURE
