It was supposed to be Feisty, but in the upgrade from Edgy, it froze up and was unbootable (sad) and the only CD I had with me was a Gutsy one. Though there are some quirks (ubiquity doesn't auto-download language packs as before as you noted), it is functioning quite well, also with desktop effects enabled.
