Hi,

I want to have a PXE server setup, but I have already a running DHCP server in the network. So my requirement is ,can i have a DHCP server and PXE server on 2 different servers or any other solution for this?
Because keeping 2 DHCP servers will create probs i think.

Suggestions appreciated.

Regards,
Pradyumna.

the tutorial is missing a semicolon here:
next-server 192.168.0.254;

and yes, some dhcp config files will be under /etc/dhcp3/dhcpd.conf

Too bad the author never read the comments and updated the tutorial, I guess he lost interest ;( or is in some dark corner hacking away on a 3D Module for openchrome...
to answer the previous question, windows would never have anything this cool. I guess they might but then you would have to have all the licenses and tons of other garbage..and it would probably take 10 to 15 hours to install and crash a lot... but a patient user would be able to use it,,,I guess

DUDE ...WTF are you smoking ???
sudo cp /var/www/html/ubuntu7.10/install/netboot/ubuntu-installer/i386/{linux, initrd.gz} /tftboot/ubuntu7.10/
why is is that ALL linux distros are so freaking different and each release stuff changes and people doing tutorials see things that don't exist ?
