Quick Update About The Forum

By | 2008/10/27

I have been continuing work on the integrated forum and based on your feedback I think I have resolved a number of the initial issues.  First of all, OpenID seems to be working now.  There have been numerous updates to the WP plugin I use and it appears the latest finally solves the issue.  Also, registration should be fixed now as well.  My apologies to anyone that has had troubles with the forum thusfar.

I am still working on the rendering in browsers other than Firefox.  I’d appreciate any help from you php/html gurus out there.

Now that those initial problems seem to be sorted out I invite you to dive in and start discussing.

I see you’ve indeed made some progress with the rendering. It renders “fine” now in Opera, but that’s not to say that there aren’t still a few errors to iron out. If you feel like working anymore out and need help feel free to email me, although it will be a little more difficult to tell you which file the problem is in, but I can send you fixes for the errors. I have some experience with phpBB and plenty of html experience. I’m not a php guru, but I might be able to help (depends on what you need). I like to try to make all of my sites as compliant as possible. It pays off in the long run. 😉

I get this error when attempting use OpenID anywhere on your site:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function add_options_page() in /var/www/virtual/ubuntu-tutorials.com/html/wp-content/plugins/wp-contact-form/wp-contactform.php on line 334
