It's great to hear about someone starting at the bottom then taking control of their life like that. I haven't finished my first year with Ubuntu (Hardy) yet. I tried it out just in time. I installed it on a spare drive. A few weeks later the main drive with Xp fried. I have much to learn. Still I am doing everything that I did with windows. I had already been using Gimp, Inkscape, Firefox, and Thunderbird. That's amazing. It's great to hear about someone starting at the bottom then taking control of their life like that.
