Some of you may have noticed the occasional downtime that we have here at Ubuntu Tutorials. I’ve been doing all that I can do keep the server running smoothly, but the high amount of traffic that continues to pour into the site is making things more and more difficult. I’ve performance tuned the web server, the database and stripped out any services that aren’t needed. I have simply decided that it needs more.
Life has also changed for me now that I have a young baby in the house. Recently I needed to take a hiatus from blogging to catch up with real life. I appreciate the kind words that many of you sent, even simply to see if I was well. This blog does take a lot of commitment and personal time. Your donations, whether direct or indirect via advertisements, continues to motivate me.
I would appreciate your help in raising money to improve the server. There are three ways you can help.
