I was reminded about the new up-and-coming browser called Flock. I’ve been using it this week at the office and I am enjoying it so far. It is still new in development but it is very stable and has a ton of “social” features.
So far some of the things I’ve noticed:
- Faster than Firefox.
- Compatible with Firefox extensions.
- Built in Blogging, Flickr & News Feed features
I would suggest checking it out.
(note: I haven’t found a .deb package for those using Debian/Ubuntu. I’m using it on the XP machine at work. Hopefully someone can jump on this and get a package in the repositories pretty soon.)
Flock is great. I’ve been using it for about 6 months; I started with the developer version and help out with QA and might help build API’s for it. Flock is great.
I use Flock exclusively, but I test on IE, Safari, and Opera; but, on your comments it shows that I’m using Firefox when I’m on Flock. Perhaps that’s because it’s built on the mozilla codebase. Embarassingly, I’m on a Windows machine, however, so that part is correct. But, I’ve got Cygwin and Emacs to make the experience of being on Windows less lame.

I’ll be doing an interview with the Flock guys soon and I’ll categorize it under the Company Interviews Page on my blog.
Cool blog.
for anyone who comes across this, go to the following link to get a flock .deb package. I'm still looking for a Flock repository though.

Found one. While it's not specifically for Flock, it does allow Flock to be added into the repositories. The version is 2.0.
nvm Fabien Tassin removed Flock from his repo. It's off to find another repo again.
